Mrs. Becky Haigler, Headmaster, began our program by crowning the King and Queen of May.
Due to COVID-19, many of our annual programs and traditions were put on hold over the last year. However, this year’s program made up for lost time. Our K3 students celebrated Halloween by singing some Halloween songs in their cosumes, K4 celebrated Thanksgiving, K5 performed their annual nativity scene. Our first, second, and fifth grade students celebrated Veterans' Day.
Of course May Day would not be complete without the May Pole dance. Both the third and fourth graders danced one of Calhoun Academy's most favorite tradition. The Class of 2021 ended the program with another Calhoun Academy favorite danced as munchkins.
Miss Rebekah Haigler, Student Body President,
was the evening's announcer. Mrs. Linda Bozard was the accompanist.
Thank you to Mrs. Gail Stabler, Mrs. Jolynne Phillips, and Mrs. Dixon Paulling for putting together a wonderful program.
