This year the kindergarten and lower school art/music department, in conjunction with the Upper School Student Council , FCA, and Glee Club, will again be honoring our Veterans with a celebration on Monday, November 11th, 2024, at 9:00 A.M. in the gymnasium.
This program will include a special recognition of our Veterans. If any student has a family member who has served or is currently serving our Nation, please ask them to join us for this special occasion on Veterans Day.
Each branch of the military will be recognized, and all Veterans will be introduced accordingly. Please fill out the information below and return it to the school NO LATER than Thursday, November 7th, 2024.
We would love to have pictures of our veterans to add to our slideshow presentation for that day. These veterans also include the ones that are no longer with us and/or will not be with us that day. Please email all pictures to gfelder@calhounacademy.org. In the subject line please put the Veterans name/branch of military/and the student that they are connected to.
